This was the original police cutter design produced half a century before the General War. Over two hundred were built. They are distinguished from the similar Callaghan-class by their straight engine struts (which are angled on Callaghan). Police ships actually spent more time in space than warships, and were always busy enforcing the law, rescuing people from disasters great and small, collecting taxes, and fighting pirates. Police ships were not simply small frigates, but included many systems needed for their civilian duties.
The ship is available in a variety of materials. Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
