Omni Scale Seltorian Nest Ship (Medium) MGL

The Seltorians are an insectoid species genetically engineered by the Tholians to be their primary servants in the Tholian Home Galaxy (M81). The Seltorians operated warships to maintain the Tholian Will. After the Revolt, the Seltorians pursued the fleeing Tholians to the Milky Way Galaxy and (with Klingon help) set up a base to continue their prosecution of Tholian War Criminals. The Seltorian dreadnought is half-again as big as the Seltorian cruiser and was the heaviest ship in the Seltorian Guard Fleet that served the Tholian Will. While none of them served in the Milky Way, the Seltorian colony was building one of them when the Klingons realized that the Seltorians were the most dangerous thing in space and destroyed them.

The Nest Ship is the little brother to the Hive Ship, virtually identical except it has four "destroyer-sized bays" instead of the six of the Hive Ship. (Both have two cruiser-sized bays.) No one knows for sure but the logical assumption is that the Nest Ship was built first and the Hive Ship was a later "stretched" design. When the Seltorians organized each new expedition to another galaxy in pursuit of escaping Tholians, they might assign one or more Hive or Nest ships, depending on the size of the fleeing Tholian force, the distance to be travelled, and the attitude of the current Seltorian ruling council which set the budget for the Seltorian Tribunal.

There are rumors that a Nest ship arrived in Romulan territory and was destroyed. There are also rumors that one or more Hive/Nest ships arrived in the Omega Octant.

The small Nest Ship is about 2.5”; the medium Nest Ship is about 5”.

The ship is available in a variety of materials. Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
