Classic Stern - Gen 1 Pop Ring & Rod Conversion

This is a modified Jet / Pop Ring & Rod with a smaller dimater to be used for a Gen 1 Pop Assembly that will allow you to replace and upgrade the first Classic Stern Gen 1 Pop Bumper from a metal bracket to a bracket similar to Gen 2 brackets but modified and designed to marry up with the new conversion nylon rod & rings set up.

The issue is the ring for Gen 1 pop  / jet bumper is no longer available and installing the custom  Gen 1 setup will allow you to drop the whole assembly from the playfield as one full assembly. This ring is approximately 3mm smaller in diameter so can fit in through the large hole of the playfield where the Gen 2 available pop ring & rod that Swinks reproduced will not fit.

Games with the smaller playfield hole (63mm) as opposed to games beyond starting at Cheetah onwards had a 65mm hole which allowed the well known Stern Jet Bumper Bracket to be used.

This custom Ring & Rod bracket will suit the following games when coupled with the now Gen 1 Pop Bracket:
