A collection of the more smaller parts to add a little extra detail to the 1:12 Airfix Wallace & Gromit Anti-Pesto or Top Bun van.
Included in this accessory set are as follows:
Pair of upgraded windsheild wipers. Sand smooth the existing wipers on the model kit. Score the line to complete the Windsheild trim. Drill a hole in the kit where you want the new wipers to go. Leave some sprue to allow the wiper to be inserted into your newly drilled hole. Glue in place. PLEASE NOTE my new design of wiper blades has a known error. The blades themselves are not correctly angled. I am in the process of upgrading these wipers.
The Flying "A" Hood ornament. Drill a small hole in the hood to allow the sprue under the hood ornamanet to be inserted. Glue in place. Caution: hood ornament will snap off easily if dropped.
Austin of England logos. One logo is to be glued to the center of the back door (part No. 70). The second logo is to be glued into the dash (Pt No. 27). Trim off sprues and sand smooth.
Rounded hinge caps. A set of rounded caps will be glued onto the top (part no. 70) and bottom (pt No. 36) of the rear door hinges. The existing model kit omitted this detail. Trim sprues and sand smooth. Glue in place.
Set of dash knobs. On the dash (part No. 27) on both sides of the instrument decal are are two round knobs that were omitted in the original kit. The location for the knobs are identified by the two flat circles molded into the original kit dash. These knobs add that little bit of extra detail. Take care when handling and gluing. Tiny pieces that can be lost easily.
Sprues must be trimmed and sanded smooth. Please refer to Curse of the Were-Rabbit for exact location of parts.
