BROOM STICK FLOOR LAMP

This is an awesome DYI tripod floorlamp, made of combination from two 3D printed parts, three standard broom sticks (cut to lenght), cable/light fixture and a lampshade. You can get the two 3D printed parts from Shapeways (I would recommend the white plastic material), and the rest is in your hands and absolutely customizable. CREATE YOUR OWN AWESOME CUSTOM BROOMSTICK FLOORLAMP! IT'S EASY AND FUN! The 3D printed parts fit standard broomsticks with a 23.8mm diameter (I got them at Home Depot), please shoot me a line, if you need a different diameter and I'll see what I can do. So you'll need 3 broom sticks, and you'll have to cut them to the right length , please check the attached sketch with recommended dimensions and assembly instructions. The broom sticks lengths don't have to be super accurate, just make sure that in the end the L-Part is horizontal, then add 2 nails or little screws fix the L and Y part in place (I left 2 little screw holes in the CAD). The cable: the top part holds cables with an approx. 6.3mm diameter, I think pretty much any standard cable would work, but I would recommend to get one of those: http://www.nudcollection.com/products/cord and last but not least: you might want a lampshade, any lampshade with an up to 320mm diameter fits the leg geometry in various heights (the one I used has a 300mm diameter).
