M50 Complete Set (Low Bustle) 1/35

This set combines my M50 Shreman mantlet (movable), M50 bustle extension and M50 Details. This set will be most helpful in converting one of 75mm high bustle turreted sherman of your choice into IDF early (VVSS) M50 Sherman.

Turret bustle extension for IDF M50 Sherman Tanks. Minor details make this a part for M50 Degem Beth, but it can be easily modified to make it Degem Alef or later batches part. It includes conical antenna base that is inside the bustle, for most earlier configurations, this should be trimmed off the little sprue and attached in the left antenna pot on the bustle.  Beside it, inside the bustle there is also a hook that catches loaders hatch that should be shaved off and placed on the top of the bustle near the right edge of opened loaders hatch. At the ends of grab rail there are little sprues that should be trimmed of.

Bustle side and top edges are about 1mm too long so should be trimmed off according to your references. The part also requires you to add weld marks of putty of your choice according to drawings or photos.

This set also includes original version of my M50 Sherman Mantlet, it is poseable, but it requires you to glue it at an angle of your choice and add to sculpt canvas cover. Fits MP models M50 sherman turret after minor trimmin of the left side edge of the sealing strip, Tasca low bustle 75mm sherman turret without modifications (for easier fit trim off the MG bulge from the front of the turret). The part acommodates Barrel Depot M50 CN75 metal turned barrel (it was not tested with other M50 barrels i.e. DEF Model or DML).

Details sprue includes 4 smoke dischargers, loaders hatch that was retrofitted to sherman 75mm turrets and a gun travel lock with a securing hook.

These parts require you to add weld marks of putty of your choice according to drawings or photos.
