A small batch of the Rumpler G.I
, aka the Rumpler 5A15
, was built in 1915 for operational evaluation. The plane proved useful and it was followed by the Rumpler G.II
. They served through summer or autumn of 1916. The G.I was a bit underpowered with its two 150hp Benz Bz.III engines.
This product comes in both 1:144 and 1:285/6mm/1:288 scales. The 1:285 product comes with two propeller disks rather than propeller blades, which are difficult to print at small scales. The disks can be snapped off if you prefer.
