This is an N-gauge model of an LMS built 55t armour plate truck with the wooden plank floor removed, and bogies with tie-bars. Wheels included on this one. Please see all the notes I have written about my other 55t wagon and the two 40t versions. The metal beam framwork would have been exposed in places or overall during conversion to concrete beam carrying, and the parts without planking would probably have been open to the track below, although some of the compartments may have been floored at the bottom level to make stowage for chains. Add back whichever bits of the planking/chain box flooring your exact replica requires. UPDATE. This is not for sale yet, because I can’t verify the number of lateral girders in the floor and I have some evidence that this design is wrong. Please get in touch if you want to buy this model anyway or can help me find the information needed. Do you have, or know of a clear photograph of the 55t post-grouping or post nationalisation build type, without decking timbers, taken from above the floor level, or a complete technical drawing that I can access or purchase?
