Product Description
Van NO.4/carriage NO.11 is a first class observation brake carriage Built in 1880 by Brown, Marshalls. It was originally numbered Van NO. 4 and had no passenger accommodation then it was rebuilt at Boston Lodge in 1928/9 with a new body incorporating a guard's van and passenger accommodation in 1st and 3rd class. in 2005 it returned to its original identity of Van 4 then in 2014 Van 4 was externally renumbered back to 11 as this is appropriate for its 1960s livery. This model is 1:76/009 scale and fits the Dundas Models Ffestiniog Railway 3'6 w/b standard coach bogies with couplings of your choice and can negotiate tight radius curves up to 12 inches. The model also requires painting, window glazing and your spar time to complete.
