Hose barb connector 10mm to 4mm

With this hose nozzle you can connect two tubes with different diameters. The bigger hose should have an inner diameter of 10 millimeters (0.39 inches) and the smaller hose should have an inner diameter of 4 millimeters (0.16 inches) for a perfect fit. If the hose is flexible, it is also possible to use this fitting even if the hose is about 1 mm less in diameter. I successfully connected a 10mm hose to a 3mm hose as shown in the picture.

Note: Shapeways does not offer the material (transparent acrylic) anymore this product has been developed and tested with. Therefore the  pictures show a material that is no longer available. But you can try one of the new materials, the are waterproof too and should work fine.
