'Diamond' Earring -1mm diameter stuts

This is a model of part of a diamond crystal: each carbon atom connects to 4 others, except at the edges of the model. There are 34 carbon atoms shown at the ends of the rods, which represent the bonds between them. The tetrahedral crystal pattern has both cubic and hexagonal symmetries. A unique 'diamond' earring, it is veryt elegant in silver and plated brass. (see also Diamond Earring 2). This version has the struts increased to 1mm diameter to be printable in the steel materials. Findings are not included, but easily attached.
