The basic people and small items mover of the Star Fleet Universe, shuttles can carry up to 10 people in relatively crowded comfort, and two or three times as many for very short flights such as an emergency evacuation. Almost all starships carried these shuttlecraft, which could be used as wild weasel distraction vehicles, suicide shuttle bomb delivery vehicles, or as scatter-pack weapons-release vehicles. The shuttle is armed with a single self-defense phaser-3 in a 360-degree mount, making it the lowest form of fighter craft.
The ship is available in a variety of materials. Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
