Product Description
This is a reinforced version of Whirlpool part number 110310800, this part should be approximately 40% stronger than the OEM part which was made from injection molded polycarbonate. The center web is made wider with some thickening of the rib sections. The changed geometry is required to offset the lower strength of the shapeways nylon in comparison to the OEM polycarbonate. The additional plastic structure doesn't intefere with the functionality the handle. The springs and metal latch all fit the new geometry.
