Vulcan T'Pau Type 1/3788 Attack Wing

This is the T'Pau Type Transport from TNG: "Unification II". The same model was later altered to be used as Tosk's ship in DS9: "Captive Pursuit" and then again as Vulcan transport, but still with some of the Tosk alterations in place (DS9: "For the Cause"). The "Official Starships Collection" by Eaglemoss gives the length of the ship as 470m! This size doesn't correspond with what was shown on screen. This is way too big. For example, in the episode, when the three ships carrying troops to invade Vulcan were destroyed, Troi says that there were more than 2000 people on board. At 470m, each ship alone would be able to carry several thousands of men. There would be no need to send three ships. In fact, Eaglemoss has also given the length of the ship as 142.5m on a poster included in a Box Set. This is a far more credible size, although the decks then would be a little low, indicated by the window rows on the actual studio model. I somehow get the impression that 470m is a typo, and they meant to follow Bernd Schneider's guess on ex-astris-scientia.org of 170m. At this size the decks are about the same height as on other Federation vessels, the ship will be just big enough to carry 600-700 men and it would fit to the scene where it docked with one of DS9's upper pylons in "For the Cause". So i decided to use that size for this ship.
