Important notes:
If the Intex inlet strainer connector (1-1/2") is out of stock, try this! Due to incredibly high demand for stock tank pools in 2020, Intex has run out of stock for this part, so I designed a very similar alternative which can be 3D printed on demand. This threaded inlet strainer connector is designed for Intex and Bestway pump systems which use threaded 1.5" hoses (it will not fit 1.25" hoses).
Design
3D printing can be *very* expensive. In fact, the first iteration was twice as expensive to produce, so I made the following modifications to minimize cost:
Why is this so darned expensive?
Because this part is 3D printed (on demand) it is significantly more expensive than the Intex part which is injection molded in extremely large quantities, so before you buy this part I encourage you to doublecheck availability of the Intex inlet strainer (link).

Please allow 10-15 days for production (3D printing) and shipping from the factory. Depending on demand, it may take longer.
Intex Equivalent Parts
Can replace Intex threaded inlet strainer connectors for 1-1/2" hoses:

- this connector is designed for 1-1/2" hoses (it does not fit pumps with 1-1/4" hoses unles you buy an adapter)
- this does not include the strainer nut and washer (which are available on Amazon or Intex's website)

Design

- Integrated the inlet grill into the part, which results in a less bulky, lower profile design
- Removed threaded connectors on the part which sit inside of the pool (it will not connect to skimmer baskets)
- Reduced the part's wall thickness.
