2 pairs of B&O wood beam, leaf spring trucks of a type used in the 1840s and 1850s. Other early railroads used a similar design. Approx. 48" wheelbase. Requires 28-33" wheelsets with an axle length 24.5mm to 25.5mm (up to 1.01" like a typical MDC/Roundhouse wheelset) Because of their small size and fine detail, Smoothest or Smooth Fine Detail is the preferred material.
