The Hummingbird is a hybrid Aerolyth/Cayley flapper designed as part of the US Army’s Hive War Crash Program as an assault troop transport. It carries an impressive array of quick firing guns and some heavier weapons, but its main “weapon” is its cargo of 70 armored soldiers. Its flapping wings give it significant maneuverability, allowing impressive maneuvers at low alti-tude. The flapping wings can provide enough thrust to compensate for wing aerodynamic lift, allowing the hummingbird to hover.
