1/25 Kelsey Hayes Artillery wheels x2, 19.3mm O.D.

*UPDATE V1.1: these wheels have been re-sized from 18.5mm OD to 19.3mm OD in order to better fit tires from the Monogram '41 Lincoln or MPC '32 Chrysler. Also center hub detail is now more 30% more pronounced so as not to be lost under coats of primer and paint.

**V1 has been deactivated in the shop. If you would like to buy copies of the original V1 Artillery wheel with 18.5mm diameter, please send a message and I can make that part available to you again.

Original description:
These wheels are intended to represent 18" Kelsey Hayes high-clearance accessory wheels.These wheels were used in commercial applications in the 1930s and became popular with hot rodders for their large diameter, allowing rodders to mount large-diameter tires on their vehicles and thereby achieve higher top speeds in dry-lakes racing... without changing their gearing. The wheels gained a renewed following in the late 2000s as the "traditional" hot rod trend picked up steam.

Two wheels with separate backs and centers are included. All parts are sprued and will need to be removed and cleaned up manually. No lug nuts are included--we suggest installing lugs from Grandt Line or a similar vendor of scale hardware.
Wheels are just under 19.3mm in diameter (OD) and about 6mm deep in total.
