Product Description
The Colorado & Southern depot at Kokomo, Colorado, just north of Fremont Pass was originally located in town at the end of a spur but was later moved to the main line. This is a great, small depot and is suitable for a town just about anywhere in the US or Canada. Drawings for the depot are in the 1st Quarter 2008 issue of Colorado Narrow Gauge Quarterly magazine. I followed the drawings, which erroneously show 4 over 4 windows: clip out the extra muntins if you want 2 over 2 windows as on the prototype. The photo is from about 1900, though the depot appears to have lasted to the end of operations. Parts are included for all the doors and windows: (1) large freight door; (2) man door; (2) small bay windows; (1) large bay window; and (4) windows, all part of a single sprue. The modeling/ rendering process appears to cast a shadow in the printed part, but this did not show once the parts are painted. Upon receipt, rinse the parts in isopropyl alcohol, let dry and prime with your favorite model primer.
