With the elegant Silk vase collection, Lumitoro has expanded its designs into the world of ceramics. Each vase gets its unique name from a silk fabric that characterises its fluid and gentle figure.
This minimalistic piece is inspired by the graceful Peau de sole, also known as Paduasoy, a luxurious silk textile that originated in Early Modern Europe. The original French word means ‘silk skin’.
Like all the vases in the Silk collection, it is very tactile and invites exploration. Its body catches light in stunning ways and has various different graphics expressions when seen from different angles.
