A Nissen Hut In N Gauge! This is a model of a prefabricated steel structure, made from a half cylindrical skin of corrugated steel. Designed in World War One by Major Nissen, Royal Engineers. It was used extensively by the UK military during World War Two at home and abroad. This is the 24ft diameter/span version, there was also a smaller 16ft version. This one has brick ends. I intend to do more versions with metal ends and dormers in the future. Like the real thing, my base model is modular, so any length can be created in '6ft and one half inch' modules (1842mm). If you have the need for specific lengths just ask and I can upload a version as requested. This version is 5 modules long - 9210mm o/all.
