Description:
A receiver wire mounting bracket for Quadcopers/Drones. Works well with aft oriented receiver masts to stabalize the receiver antenna and keep it away from the "spinning props of mortal wounding". The mast support is anchored to the frame using a single small (2.5 mm - 3mm) machine screw (not included). The Antenna is routed through the center hole and secured to the mast by a small zip tie*. The mast will rise the antenna high enough to clear the blades, yet the plastic shaft is short enough to minimalize interferrance.
Technical Details:
23mm long x 5mm wide x 19mm tall (at the staff). The mast slot is 2mm wide - while the center passthrough opening has a 4mm diameter. This bracket should fit and secure most RC receiver flexible antennas. While this will work for other applications - it is especially designed for RC aplications where antenna stability is important to prevent prop interferrance. Designed to be easily replaceable in the event of accidental breakage.
*Not recommended to glue the antenna wire into the bracket. If you crash and the bracket is hit - it is designed to snap at the pass through hole, allowing the mast to move freely on the wire. Gluing the antenna to the mast will cause possible damage to the receiver or antenna. It will also make it quite difficult to replace the broken bracket.
