3D Fabric Test Sample 4

This sample is an experiment in 3D Fabric construction and design. It is constructed as a bikini triangle so as to provide a useful test with a small but reasonable size of material.

This sample is based on Japanese 6-in-1 chain mail. It has been printed and has been found to be flexible enough to drape freely over a typical ball-point pen.

This sample is unidirectional flexing throughout the sample. Coverage is approximately 75% but can easily be increased by removing the through-holes which serve only to reduce material volume.
