Product Description
“Peace is the beauty of life. It is sunshine. It is the smile of a child, the love of a mother, the joy of a father, the togetherness of a family. It is the advancement of man, the victory of a just cause, the triumph of truth.” -  Menachem Begin

Peace pendant is a natural amalgamation of beauty and meaning. This pendant will make you look classy. People are judged by what they wear. With this pendant you are not only wearing a beautiful piece, but you are wearing a beautiful message. Peace symbol, being a universal symbol, there is no reason why this pendant will not go with any outfit. However contrast matching is specially recommended.

Have you heard the story of “Pale blue dot”?
Voyager 1, which had completed its primary mission and was leaving the Solar System, was commanded by NASA to turn its camera around and take one last photograph of Earth across a great expanse of space, at the request of astronomer and author Carl Sagan. “Pale Blue Dot” is the name of that photograph taken on February 14, 1990, from a record distance of about 6 billion kilometers. In the photograph, Earth's apparent size is less than a pixel. The planet appears as a tiny dot against the vastness of space. During a public lecture at Cornell University in 1994, Carl Sagan presented the image to the audience and shared his reflections on the deeper meaning behind the idea of the Pale Blue Dot. In his own words, “Think of the rivers of blood spilled by all those generals and emperors so that in glory and in triumph they could become the momentary masters of a fraction of a dot… To me, it underscores our responsibility to deal more kindly and compassionately with one another and to preserve and cherish that pale blue dot, the only home we've ever known.”

Every human being including and especially a soldier longs for peace and love. Many have already predicted World War 3 as the end of human species. So the time has never been so urgent than today that we embrace Peace, empathy for others and turn down greed for more power. You can show solidarity for a peaceful human society by wearing this symbol every day. This is not just an ornament, it is a magic symbol that spreads peace. This pendant looks prominent even from a distance. Who knows whose day you will be making, or who you will be encouraging to take a step in right direction by wearing this priceless symbol?

There is a personal meaning too behind this symbol. Peace starts with your own mind. Let this symbol be a constant reminder to you that peace comes from confronting the problems head-on, instead of running away from them. Being peaceful is nothing but being strong, being courageous. May this symbol be your eternal source of encouragement for anything good that you are trying to achieve.

Peace symbol was designed by Gerald Holtom, and artist and designer, as the logo for the British Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, a group at the forefront of the peace movement in the UK, and adopted by anti-war and counterculture activists in the US and elsewhere. It is also known as the nuclear disarmament symbol, and the CND symbol. The symbol is a combination of the semaphore signals (visual signals with hand-held flags) for the letters "N" and "D", standing for "nuclear disarmament".   In semaphore the letter "N" is formed by a person holding two flags in an inverted "V", and the letter "D" is formed by holding one flag pointed straight up and the other pointed straight down. Superimposing these two signs forms the shape of the center of the peace symbol. Not copyrighted, trademarked or restricted, the symbol spread beyond CND and was adopted by the wider disarmament and anti-war movements. Today the symbol has been adopted as a generic peace sign.

You can choose from a variety of colors and materials to give an added meaning to this Peace symbol.
