Product Description
These trucks are based off a D&RGW truck, but aren't exact due to considerations necessary for 3d printing. They are similar to trucks used on many narrow gauge lines. The passenger truck bearing insert must be purchased as well in order for these to function. The insert provides the wear surface for the wheelsets and should make these trucks more durable than ones printed in detail plastic alone. The two piece design means these trucks are a tad wider than Blacksone or MDC trucks by about 6 scale inches, but that isn't noticable from the side.  They are designed to use Kadee 26" wheelets. You can use up to a 2-56 screw in the bolster (I like 2-56 because my local hardware store sells them).

To assemble -

**Please note - cut the trucks apart with a very fine tooth razor saw - a spure cutter or other diagonal pliers is likely to crack the plastic**

I suggest first sanding any burrs or roughness of the outside and top surfaces of the bearing insert with 220 or 500 grit sandpaper (the nylon plastic comes out a little grainy).  Gently clean both parts with dish detergent and water and an old toothbrush and let dry.   Insert the wheels into the bearing insert, then slide the bearing insert into the truck frame from the top.  A drop or two of adhesive between the bolster halves will hold it together, or you could use small screws.  CA doesn't seem to stick to the nylon plastic, but I have found a 3M "Super Strength Adhesive" in a red tube at the hardware store will glue it, and I am guessing Walthers Goo or similar would also work.

I find that painting first with rattle can gray auto primer helps bring out details and helps me see areas that need to be sanded smoother.  These look pretty good as printed, but careful sanding with 500 grit or finer sandpaper on the journal box covers and other flat areas would improve appearance.
