Product Description
This is a set of parts to build one of the Metropolitan District Railway A Class 4 4 0t locos in 00 gauge. These locos were similar to the neighbouring Metropolitan railway A Class, one example of which is preserved at the LT museum. The District version had different cab sheets, chimneys and were air brake rather than vacuum fitted. They also had the sandboxes mounted on the boiler, and the dome on the first ring of the boiler.
