I fell in love with the Steampunk genre several years back when I completed my Master's Thesis on Fabricated mechanical jewelry. I created several charms/pendants but had difficulty offering them to the public in general without carrying overhead and inventory. With Shapeways I now have a way to offer these designs in a much wider variety of materials than ever before at much more economical prices for the community.
