This model is for metal materials. Listed is also have a more economical polymer version.
*Disclaimer: Though all precautions in design have been taken, due to the unpredictable nature of the production methods for these materials, I cannot guarantee that the item you receive will be a perfect fit. You may need to manually make some changes.
A small carabiner and a handy tool. Includes 1/4" (screwdriver bit size), 8mm, 10mm, and 12mm hex slots, a box opener/flathead screwdriver/pryer. I haven't tested it as a bottle opener, but that should also work.
This design doesn't include a spring, however, there are two small holes designed to accommodate one (I found that it is best to bend one out of a large paperclip or thick wire). If this proves difficult, I can design a jig model to bend the wire around.
This 3D model is scaled 2.5% to account for the shrinkage of these materials as per Shapeways guidelines. I have not been able to test all of the materials, so there is a chance the materials will not all shrink uniformly and therefore, you may need to modify the product post production.
