Product Description

The WW2 built 50t Warflat wagon in N-gauge/2mm:1ft scale, with mountings for Graham Farish and N-gauge Society diamond frame bogies. The parts of this kit are interchangeable with my other Warflat chassis and the bolster-fitted floors, so you can make the conversions based on the 50t (WW2 built) chassis now as well as those based on the 45t (WW1 built) chassis. Remove the inside half of the jacks under the bufferbeams to make more clearance for couplings on sharp curves. Most of the bolster conversions had the jacks removed entirely, sooner or later. For the coil carrier conversion of the Warflat, I suggest you use the dedicated chassis model which I loaded up a while ago, which has the lashing rings removed and a cleaner face to the bufferbeams where the end jack mountings were taken right off. If you would like me to put together a custom package of chassis, floor(s) and other parts for you, let me know and I will probably get around to it. For example you might want the WW1 chassis with end jacks added, or you might want this WW2 chassis but without the end jacks, and combined with a bolster-fitted floor. Please note I haven't ordered one of these myself yet, and I'm not sure how resilient the end jacks will be, though the design passed the automated checks for FUD and FXD with no warnings. The parts of this kit are similar to, and with a little bit of filing, interchangeable with, the parts of the former Parkwood/N-gauge Society kit which is temporarily unavailable.
