Product Description
Ampro Engineering Introduces the ultimate upgrade for the Tamiya Hornet. This is a complete system that will not only increase the structural integrity of the Hornet Chassis but completely changes the look to a sleeker, more menacing appearance. This set is not compatible with the stock Hornet body and is needed if you want to add the 3rd shock cantilever in place of the transmission brace. This chassis cage/body has been used on our race car for years and has never had any problems. In fact, the vintage, previously cracked and glued chassis has not has a single problem since the installation of this cage. It is advised that the front lights are not installed while under hard use as the area they install can be susceptible to very high stresses if the lamp you install is directly hit. We also only recommend a hot stock motor in a Hornet with any AMPRO upgrades. To complete this installation, you will need the following:
