Hammer fit. That means you must attach the central rivets first, then bend down the arms of the cross to fit the face of the Great Helm. Attach rivets and complete.
Soldering and brazing and welding are also viable options if you are skilled in them, but these could affect the material properties of the base marerial or even irrevocably damage it.
