Product Description

Swedish concept design for a heavy fighter/light bomber that was created by Sigurd Isacson as part of his advanced engineering studies. The design was first published in the Swedish magazine 'Flyg' and was to have been powered by a pair of (British) 24 cylinder Napier Sabre engines. In order to reduce drag and improve the crew's resistance to high G manoeuvres the pilot lies prone and the gunner/radio operator is reclining on his back.

Dr. Richard Vogt of Blohm & Voss had previously registered a patent for an aircraft of similar configuration but is not known to have developed it into a formal design.
