1/700 MIM-104 Patriot Missile Battery

This new version of this model has been completely redone from scratch.

This model kit is in 1/700 scale. The single sprue is connected by wires at the rear of the vehicles. It includes: 11x systems mounted on M983 Tractors made by Oshkosh - 6x MIM-104F (PAC-3), 3x THAAD, 1x AN/TPY-2 Radar for THAAD, 1x AN/MPQ-53 Radar for PAC-3, and 1x M1006 Battery Control Central, 1x M1006 Combat Alert Status Van, 1x M1002 Recovery Vehicle, 1x AN-TRC 80 Radio Terminal Set and 3x M928 Platoon Control Central Trucks, .

Wikipedia says; "The MIM-104 Patriot is a surface-to-air missile (SAM) system, the primary of its kind used by the United States Army and several allied nations. It is manufactured by the U.S. defense contractor Raytheon and derives its name from the radar component of the weapon system. The AN/MPQ-53 at the heart of the system is known as the "Phased Array Tracking Radar to Intercept On Target" or the bacronym PATRIOT. The Patriot System replaced the Nike Hercules system as the U.S. Army's primary High to Medium Air Defense (HIMAD) system, and replaced the MIM-23 Hawk system as the U.S. Army's medium tactical air defense system."
