Product Description
Model of the unbuilt Fairchild-Republic AFTI (Advanced Fighter Technology Integrator), based on the original artist conception painting and Fairchild-Republic filed patent (US Design-Patent 244.180). AFTI was a program, from the mid 70s, to explore new technologies that would be useful in a new generation of fighters, and prepare for future fighter programs. To this end, a variety of submissions were considered from different places. Some companies suggested building whole demonstrators, others modifications to existing aircraft.
