Puzzle Details
This Is my take on a 2x2x1; It uses only
five parts and requires no screws and/or caps, you can even take the puzzle apart after it is assembled! The 2x2x1 uses a ball-joint snapping mechanism that allows the said functions, namely being able to take the puzzle apart.
Assembly Details- The puzzle uses standard 19mm cubies, so you can use regular Rubik's Cube stickers.
- There is some flash (small pieces of plastic) that will be left over after you break the four corners and core apart. Use a craft knife or other sharp object to remove it. I know it's annoying to have to remove plastic, but hey, it saves you $6! (and that's the difference between a friendly looking $15 and not so friendly $21).
- To assemble slide all the regular corner pieces on and then snap the finishing corner on last.
Small Disclaimer:
As of yet I have not tested the ball joint mechanism so try at your own risk. (It is likely to work)
