The Frax are a simulator empire used to train officers of the Klingon Deep Space Fleet to handle unexpected enemies. Based on old wet-navy concepts, the weapons are disposed in turrets with Forward eXpanded and Rear eXpanded firing arcs (hence the name “Frax”).
Scouts in the Star Fleet Universe remain with the fleet but use powerful special sensors to locate enemy targets and threats. In actual combat, the scouts become powerful electronic warfare platforms that jam enemy scanners and control massive waves of seeking weapons. As the General War dragged on, larger and larger ships were used to create scouts, including this war cruiser variant.
The ship is available in a variety of materials. Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
