Product Description
Coronaviruses are a group of RNA viruses distinguished by club-like structures protruding from their surface. Under the light microscope, these protrusions give the illusion of a solar corona around the virus, thus the name. It was discovered in the 1960s that this virus group could infect humans and cause respiratory ailments including penumonia and bronchitis. In 2019, a deadly coronavirus named SARS-CoV (Covid 19) emerged and caused a worldwide pandemic.
The coronavirus studs are approximately 1 cm (0.4 inch) in diameter and the posts are a comfortable 8.5 mm in diameter.
