Youtube video link is of the older two-piece version that required a wire pull tool. This new single-piece version only needs a needle nose or fishing pliers to squeeze and pull out.
IMPORTANT: Track Depth at the track gap should 20.7mm and a spread open slot of 7" by 3/4" wide. Sail slug must be 3/8" or 9mm. 1/2" slugs will not pass.
Use the bottom hole of the insert to mark the location to drill an 11/64" hole into the aluminum back web.
Use a 1/16" hex key to install a 6-32 x 3/8" set-screw into the bottom pad eye till it protrudes 1/8" below the bottom.
The setscrew will act as a stop-pin when mated into the web hole. This will prevent the insert from sliding out of position during reefing and hoisting.
