Product Description

The Tiniest BJD! This tiny BJD was a great and fun experiment. I wanted to see how fast I could model this doll, as well as how small I could make a BJD.  This doll design is a pinecone sprite, a tiny fairy born from a pinecone seed.  These dolls are wasy to blush or paint or even dye, anythign you would use for a BJD can be used for these 3D printed dolls.  Doll is approx 3.3cm tall, with single joints and 5 points of articulation.

This Is a DIY project. You will need to purchase seperatly or supply a few thigns as well as assemble the doll.  Items you will need listed below.

  • .7mm beading cord
  • 4mm thin gauge jump ring
  • Bit of thin wire to make a hook to help pull cord through legs.

I will make a video soon on how I assemble these guys, but here's a quick written tutorial:
Parts come printed in a 3D printed cage mesh. Carefully cut away the mesh. If there seems to be extra pringting powder, make sure to ewar a  dust mask to protect your lungs or at least throw a cloth over your mouth and nose. AFter you cut away the mesh, make sure you have two legs, two arms, torso, head and  top opf head/hat. The legs and arms are held together by sprues. Cut them apart and trim off any extra of the rod that held them tgether by cutting close to the doll part. Grabe your wire and make sure the parts are cleaned of any access powder, use a can of compressed air yif you want. Again make sure not to breath any of the powder in and wear a mask. Once parts are ready and clean,   Cut a small length of cord 8-10cm is good, then push cord thorugh lower torso or hip joint area and use the wire or super tiny hook to pull cord across to the other hip hole. dont pull all the way thorugh, take the ends and thread end thorugh leg hole and then up through hip hole and up thorugh torso through neck hole and then through head hole. do this to both sides. This way you use one piece of cord to thread the legs on, as their is no room for two or four ends in the neck hole. Thread one end through your 4mm jump ring inside the head and tie the cord tightly to the ring inside the head  TIGHTLY. trim ends.  Next and last grab anothre  piece of cord similar length and thread through arm hole, put both ends through the torso and out the other arm side ( a little tricky) then thread one end through the other arm hole and tie tightly, cut off extra.   DONE!
