This elegant and yet slightly industrial looking pendant is based on a breeze block design. The breeze block is a highly decorative member of the cinder block family and it was a very popular architectural element in the 1950's and 60's, especially in warmer climates like Southern California. It's definitely a midcentury modern thing.
This pendant in steel has a very slight texture which makes it resemble concrete. It's clean lines give it a very simple yet elegant look. The default image shows a nickel plated version.
