Product Description
Anhanguera santanae is a pterosaur from the Early Cretaceous Santana Formation of Brazil. Anhanguera was a fish eater with a wingspan of 4.6 meters (15 ft). It's most distinguishing features were rounded crests at the end of its upper and lower jaws as well as large conical curved teeth.
This model has been painstakingly reconstructed from the bones up using the latest information available on pterosaur anatomy and physiology. When assembled this model has a wingspan measuring approximately 28 centimeters (11inches) and comes in 8 parts including a display stand.
