Product Description
The Monon Railroad, formerly known as the Chicago Indianapolis & Louisville Railway, operated a fleet of 9 EMD built BL2 locomotives. Numbered 30-38 these iconic locomotives were built in 1948 and 1949. Soon after delivery, the railroad modified the locomotives to have a larger battery box. Theses parts are designed to fit on Proto 200 HO scale BL2 to more accurately model one of these Hoosier locomotives. Two battery boxes allow you to modify both sides of your locomotive.
