Loriot R

In 1913 the Great Western Railway built two steam roller carrying wagons to diagram F3, of which one was transferred to merchandise stock in 1928 and reassigned to diagram F4, coded Loriot R. It lasted well into nationalisation, coded Hymac WR. The bogies had 5'6" wheelbase and will be well represented by N-gauge society plate backs. The loose parts in this print are two pairs of wheel-restraining bars, which you will need to separate from the tiny blocks between them (they would be too small to print on their own). You should end up with spares if you don't break any in the process, as you only need two. They fit transversely between the curb rails on the elevated flat sections of the wagon, located to chock the load, held in place by securing to the holes in the curb rail. You may also wish to make 4 elongated rings out of fine wire to thread into the eyelets at the corners of the mid-section to complete the model. These were for securing chains to hold the load steady.
