Union Signal Co. circa 1890 lower quadrant station and or block signal mast, two position, with lantern, actuator rod guides, and bearing plates and stops for blades. These signals were used for both automatic block signalling and operator controlled station and block signals. Blades can be made in brass. Inspect upon receipt and if you see excess plastic material on the print take a picture, send it to Shapeways and request a reprint. Wash with kerosene, I put the print in a sealed bottle containing kerosene in an ultrasonic cleaner. Insert 3mm od K and S tube for stiffening. Using a paper punch make 3/32" clear lenses for the lantern and the same size red lenses for the blade bullseyes. Use .015 piano wire for the actuator rods running below the layout to servos if you want to operate the blades. Use Evan Designs pico warm white smd-chip-leds if you want to light the lantern.
