Saxon Initial Letter T Pendant
This beautiful pendant is a bridge to the Anglo-Saxons, who arrived some 1500 years ago on the island the Romans knew as Britannia.
Whilst the design style mimics artifacts discovered in Mercia - the heart of Anglo-Saxon England, the initial letter echoes Celtic origins from pre-Roman times.
The engraved words on the reverse of the pendant are from Beowulf, one of the most important and oldest surviving Anglo-Saxon texts: the 3,182-line poem dates to the late 7th or early 8th Century.
The bail loop at top allows for different necklace materials, from chain to leather. The pendant is also perfect as a key fob.
All 26 letters of the English alphabet are available for the Saxon pendants. The font has been specially designed for the set.
