Make a nice difference on your easter table!
Serve an assortion of small dishes in these stylish egg shell bowls.
Ideal for salads, dips, varieties of scrambled eggs, but also for creams and sweet puddings.
It is intended to be printed in porcellain, but I left the choice to you.
Actually, I'm not allowed to offer it in porcellain until it has been test printed (I only uploaded it at March 15).
5.92cm (2.33'') heigh in it's broken and slanted form, which would translate into 7.5cm for the full egg - meaning it's size would be in-between an averenge chicken egg and a goose egg.
I offer also an upright version of this (EggShell1). Some of both in combination will give a great effect.
The idea comes from an advertising handoout of a popular food discounter with several recipes and ideas around the easter days. One of these was to serve dishes in real half egg shells. The photos looked nice, but in reality, this mehthod has several shortcomings:
- The size of the eggs is really too small to give you more than a taste test of the dish.
- You have to throw away the inner eggs (unless you have a use for them at the moment), and wash the shells.
- More important, egg shells hve a tendency to break.
You may be willing to put some efford in preparing a nice meal for your guest or family, but you certainly don't want to have your guests required to put effords into eating it (egg shells will break just as easy when eaten from them).
