Product Description
8x Dinorwic Quarry slate wagon axleboxes in 7/8" scale (1:13.7), also known as SE or 7/8n2 scale.
Enough for one wagon if modelling prototypically-correct double-flanged wheels each on their own axle, or two wagons if using ordinary wheelsets.
The bore is nominally 4 mm diameter, which in practice is is a tight push-fit for 5/32" x 0.014" brass tube, suitable for 1/8" or 3 mm diameter axles. The bore is 4.5 mm deep, plus a 0.5 mm chamfer at the outside edge.
Axleboxes are located in the wagon frame by two 2 mm diameter x 3 mm long spigots at 14.8 mm centres, in line with the axlebox bolts.
