3125 Scale Hydran Trooper New Light Carrier CVN

The Hydrans are an unusual species that live on the far side of the Klingon Empire, along the edge of the galaxy. They are enemies of the Klingons and Lyrans, and were conquered by those empires at one point, only to drive the invaders out decades later. Hydrans breathe methane and live on cold type-S gas giants on silicate continents floating on liquid methane oceans.

Based on the Horseman light cruiser and intended to provide more fighters for Horseman/Traveler squadrons, the Trooper was an interim design with 12 fighters, no more than a Klingon D5V. The Hydran fleet wanted a carrier with more fighters but would have to wait for the Mongol war cruiser to build one. Known to the Hydrans as the “fury” class, the ships all included that word in the name, such as Cold Fury, Star Fury, Nova Fury, and Astral Fury.

The ship is available in a variety of materials. Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
