Product Description
The K-3 Series of Airships for maritime surveilance and anti submarine hunting was build by the Goodyear Company during WWII in large Numbers. More than 130 pcs. are leaving the factories and used by the US-Navy. The last of them are in Service until 1959. Unlike the Zeppelins, these Airships didn´t have a metal Frame inside, they are blown up like a baloon, so they are called usually "Blimp".
