Product Description
Pack of bases for inset rail, code 100. A lower cost version of my inset track panels. Printed as straight , but when rail is inserted it can be bent to virtually any curve.
Suggested method of contstruction, is to insert rail, bend and then superglue base to cardboard base with curve drawn on it. Remove rail then fit card to layout. Don't get superglue on rail , othersise it won't be possiblr=e to remove rail.
Can also be cut up to create inset pointwork etc.
For 16.5mm gauge gap between base sections is 10.7mm (code 100)
Other gauges based on these(5.8mm less than gauge required), so 9mm gauge needs a 3.2mm gap, 6.5mm gauge requires 0.7mm gap.
